Scope and Content Note
The Ermine Willfong Papers consists of material collected by Ermine Willfong. Ermine Baskin Willfong (1886-1972) was a 1906 Winthrop graduate and a professor of music at Winthrop College from 1907-1951. Most of the papers were collected and pertain to her career in music at Winthrop. The collection consists of concert programs (most performed at Winthrop College), newspaper clippings, magazine clippings, notes, songbooks, and photographs.
Provenance
The papers of Ermine Willfong, Winthrop graduate (1906) and Winthrop professor, were received by the University Archives on January 1997 from Mrs. Donald E. Brown.
