The American Civil Liberties Union of South Carolina (ACLU) Records consists of records related to the organization. The ACLU of South Carolina was formed to secure and maintain civil liberties in S.C. Areas of prime concern are women’s and minority rights. The collection consists of correspondence, financial records, reports, newsletters, press releases, the organization’s history, and newspaper clippings (photocopies) related to the growth and organization of this S.C. affiliate. Most of the documents are photocopies of the originals.

The records of the ACLU of S.C. were deposited in the Archives June 26, 1981 by Ms. Malissa Langston.
