Scope and Content Note
This collection consists of microfilm copies of the minutes of the stockholders meetings of the Carolina Narrow Gauge Railroad Company of N.C., which consolidated with the Chester and Lenoir Narrow Gauge Railroad Company of S.C. ca. 1873. The merged companies were then known as the Chester and Lenoir Gauge Railroad which ran over 120 miles from Chester, SC to Lenoir, NC.

The Carolina Narrow Gauge Railroad Company Minute Book was purchased by the Winthrop Archives by The South Carolina Department of Archives and History on April 3, 1981.
