Scope and Content Note
This collection consists of materials related to the Cook Family and to Crawford Cook in particular.) Crawford Cook (1934-2016) was a political consultant who advised state, national, and international clients who worked on the campaigns of Fritz Hollings, John West, and Jim Hodges among others. The collection consists of a photograph of Crawford Cook and The South Magazine for March 1979 that includes an article about Crawford Cook which describes his efforts to promote Saudi Arabian interests in the United States. Also of interest is a pillowcase produced by the Springs Cotton Mills which contains aerial views of the plant and several employees including Springs Mill President, Elliott White Springs (1896-1959).
