Scope and Content Note
This collection consists of three diplomas, two that were awarded to Nettie Elizabeth Workman Weaver (1915-1993) and one that was awarded to her husband, John Siler Weaver (1910-1974). The first diploma was awarded to John Siler Weaver on June 6, 1930 by Asheville High School in Asheville, NC. The other two diplomas awarded to Nettie Elizabeth Workman consist of one dated May 26, 1933 by Rock Hill High School and one awarded by Rock Hill Public Schools Commercial Department to Nettie on May 26, 1933 that certifies that she “Successfully completed two years’ work in Shorthand, Typewriting, and Bookkeeping.”
