Scope and Content Note
The Charles H. Niehaus Scrapbook Collection consists of a scrapbook devoted to life and work of the famous sculptor Charles Henry Niehaus (1855-1935). The creator of the scrapbook is unknown, but the scrapbook (24" x 18") is filled with newspaper articles, image of his works, and a few photographs all detailing Mr. Niehuas' artistic exploits. Monuments and statues created by Niehuas can be found in cities all over the United States including at the United States Capitol.
