Publication Ethics
Publication Ethics Statement
JLSB Ethical Standards for Publication
The Journal of Legal Studies in Business requires all submissions to comply with the following ethical principles:
Originality: Manuscripts must be original and not published or under review elsewhere.
Citation Ethics: All sources must be accurately cited. Plagiarism— including AI-assisted plagiarism—is prohibited.
Integrity of Argumentation: Authors must present their analysis honestly and without fabrication, distortion, or omission of material facts.
Conflicts of Interest: Any relevant conflicts must be disclosed upon submission.
Confidential Review: Reviewers will maintain strict confidentiality and evaluate manuscripts solely on scholarly merit. The JLSB conducts double-blind peer reviews, and publication requires at least 2 acceptances from faculty reviewers with expertise in the subject matter.
Author Responsibility: Authors are required to correct or retract published work if errors are identified.
AI Transparency: Any use of generative Artificial Intelligence systems MUST BE FULLY DISCLOSED throughout each submitted manuscript, and the final responsibility for accuracy and proper citation lies with the authors.
Author compliance with these standards is a mandatory condition of submission and publication.
