Welcome to the second Winthrop University Interdisciplinary Conference scheduled for February 21-23, 2019! Winthrop University, along with the North Carolina/South Carolina Graduate Liberal Studies Programs Consortium is pleased to present “The World of Food: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on What We Eat and Grow.” This conference focuses on the growth, consumption, environmental impact, art, politics, marketing, history, and economics of food worldwide. It is open to faculty, graduate students, undergraduate students, activists, and community professionals.
We will accept paper, panel, and poster presentations until September 15, 2018. We will notify you of the status of your proposal by November 1, 2018.
