Winthrop Close Up is a weekly news cast produced by the Advanced Journalism and Advanced Broadcast Production classes at Winthrop University. This week’s episode deals with what some students plan to do after graduation, what Dr. Justin Brown plans to bring to Winthrop, what effect the tuition rise has on faculty and staff, Segregation in Thomson café, the Poverty in Our Backyard Forum and the Poverty Stimulation, how the Winthrop community reaches out to those in need, and the Eagles Sports Update along with the Arts and Entertainment Update.
