The Department of World Languages and Cultures seeks to provide an education that develops language and critical thinking skills and promotes awareness of international contexts, influences and applications, and sensitivity to cross-cultural and diversity issues. The undergraduate program enables students to effectively use their language skills, knowledge, and cultural and aesthetic awareness in any career they may choose while promoting global awareness through curricular, co-curricular, and international opportunities, like language organizations, study abroad, etc.
