About This Journal

The Anthology has served as Winthrop University's literary magazine for, essentially, one hundred years. It has dramatically evolved with the times and, since the early 1990s, included visual art with its regular entries of poetry and prose. Because the Anthology is published only once a year and with a revolving door of student editors, the book is malleable and can change over time.

Currently, our staff of art, poetry, and prose editors choose their favorite pieces to hand out an Editor's Choice award; the Editor-in-Chief and Assistant Editor also contribute with awards.
