This collection consists of a narrative and reminiscence of the Rauton family history from Johnston County, SC and York County, SC and the family business (The Brownie Studio) by Christine Mackay Rauton Cogburn (1917-), the daughter of Edward May Rauton (1888-1957) and James “Jane” Andrew Sanders (1898-1976) (she was named in honor of her grandfather before she was born and before they knew the gender of the child).
