The Wainner Family History consists of a book titled The Family History of Wainner, Overton, McMurr(a)y, and Interconnecting Lines which was written by Merle Wainner Jeter, George D. Wainner, and others (1972). The history provides information on not only the Wainner family but also the Overton, McMurray, and allied families. A few of the allied families are Currey, Long, Alfonso, Wray, Porter, Jeter, Robeau, Anderson, Zipp, Hallman, Gaston, Montgomery, James, Allen, Showers, Belcher, Rust, Moore, Stewart, Faires, Cowart.
