José María Álvarez (1942- ) is a Spanish poet, novelist, author and historian who has written articles, books, movie scripts and poetry. He was born on May 31, 1942 in Cartagena, Spain.

Scope and Content Note

The Jose Maria Alvarez Papers consist of a paper titled “Conversaciones con Jose Maria Alvarez” by Juan Miguel Margalef in collaboration with Jesus Munarriz and Csaba Csuday. Alvarez is a Spanish author and historian who has written articles, books, movie scripts and poetry. The paper contains biographical information concerning Alvarez as well as comments on his writing.
