The bicycle sharing concept originated in Europe in 1965 and has rapidly evolved in more than 50 countries around the world.
Sponsored by Comporium Communications, the program offers a fleet of 25 bikes for people to use throughout the downtown area on a short-term basis.
The bikes are available free for two hours, and then a $6 per hour overage fee after that.
