NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell targets the league’s annual revenue to reach $25 billion by 2027. Relating continued growth with the technological revolution of the 21st century, the purpose of this study is to examine how the NFL is currently using artificial intelligence to reshape the many aspects of fan interaction. AI in sports allows participants, managers, and spectators to establish connections with each other, which can be extremely beneficial to business. The data analysis in this study links the relationship between fantasy football and Amazon Web Services software, NFL Next Gen Stats. Data were collected from college students through an online survey to examine how fans interact with NFL media content, their fantasy football participation, and overall knowledge of AI present in the NFL. AI plays a huge role in the future of our society, specifically in sports. Not only will we have to make a reality of what we once thought AI was, but also we have to plan, analyze, and operate the new reality in which we currently live.
