Viola Caston Floyd was born in Lancaster County, SC on March 23, 1901 to John Durham Caston and Matilda Mary Ingram Caston. She was married to Henry Clyde Floyd. Floyd wrote a number of books on Lancaster County history and genealogy. She died on July 22, 1978.
