Presenter Bio
Melissa K. Carsten is an associate professor of organizational behavior and human resource management at Winthrop University. She brings more than 10 years of consulting experience in leadership development, human resources selection and performance management systems, and compensation and benefits for public and private organizations. Her research has appeared in The Leadership Quarterly, Organizational Dynamics, Money Magazine, and many more. She holds a B.S. in psychology, an M.S. in industrial-organization psychology, and a Ph.D. in organizational psychology. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the Gallup Leadership Institute at the University of Nebraska.
