Description
In 1955, the D. B. Johnson Memorial Organ was installed and dedicated in Byrnes Auditorium at Winthrop College. The D.B. Johnson Memorial Organ is considered one of the most historic instruments in the Southeast.
This photograph is of world renowned organist, Virgil Fox giving a workshop using the organ in 1956.
