In 1925, Will Rogers comes to Winthrop as part of the Artist and Lecture series sponsored by Winthrop. Will Rogers was one of the most famous and successful entertainers of the 1920s and 1930s. He would delight the Winthrop student body with his famous comedic act in 1925.
