The Marshall Family Papers consist mostly of genealogical information related to the Marshall Family of Rock Hill, SC. The Marshall family is one of the most prominent Rock Hill families and are related to the Albrights, Barnes, and Friedheims. The genealogical records consist of lineage charts, family narratives, photographs, scrapbooks, correspondence, notes, newspaper articles, and published family histories. The genealogical records include information of the following families: Albright; Barnes; Foxworth; Friedheim; Marshall; Tiner (Tyner); Watson (of Brittons Neck; SC); Also included in the collection is Winthrop Training School memorabilia collected by Edward “Ned” Marshall III (Class of 1955) and information related to the Marshall Family owned Marshall Oil Company.
