Scope and Content Note
This collection consists of laminated color photographs that were used by the Rock Hill Herald in newspaper editions from 1987-1999. Many of the photographs have a caption from the newspaper the date from which they were used in the print edition laminated on the reverse side. The photographs document many persons, places, activities, and other events in the Rock Hill Herald distribution area. The Rock Hill Herald is the local newspaper headquartered in Rock Hill SC and at various times was known as the Evening Herald and The Herald.
The Rock Hill Herald Photograph Collection was donated to the Louise Pettus Archives and Special Collections by the York County Public Library, Main Branch, via Jason Hyatt on November 26, 2019.
