The Rock Hill Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) is a not-for-profit organization that has provided leadership training through community service for more than 75 years. The Rock Hill Junior Chamber of Commerce Scrapbooks consists 8 scrapbooks (6 are very large oversize scrapbooks) detailing the events and activities of the organization. The scrapbooks contain mainly photographs and newspaper articles, but also contain programs, copies of the constitution and bylaws, correspondence, schedules of events and other records pertaining to the organizations activities. Some of the material is also related to the sister organization, the Jaycee-ettes and to other concerns of the city of Rock Hill, S.C. One of the scrapbooks concerns Lavinia Cox, Miss South Carolina, whom the Jaycees sponsored in 1976.
The Rock Hill Junior Chamber of Commerce Scrapbook Collection was donated on July 8, 1980 and January 24, 1983 by the organization via Jerry Gunderson.
