This collection contains Etta Jane Hutchison Steele (1862-1935) autograph book. Signatures in this book spans from 1878-1883. The book was a gift from her father James Porter “Papa” Hutchison (1832-1920). The book contains autographs, drawings, greetings, and notes written by many friends and family members most of whom resided in Rock Hill, SC. Most of the entries are dated 1878. Anyone looking for names of Rock Hillians from the 1870s-1880s will find the book useful.
