Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of a 1970 report titled, Comprehensive Law Enforcement Plan for the Central Piedmont Regional Planning District which was the second in a series of continuous Law Enforcement Plans for District III, the Central Piedmont Regional Planning District. The 67 page report was prepared by The Regional Law Enforcement Task Force with technical assistance from Vismor and Associates, Columbia, SC. The sections of the report cover: “Description of Existing Law Enforcement Systems and Available Resources in the Region;” “Law Enforcement Needs, Problems and Priorities;” “Multi-Year Action Plan;” and Fiscal Year 1970 Summary Sheet.
