Scope and Content Note

The Mary Claire Traxler Grogan Collection consists of memorabilia collected by Mary Claire Traxler Grogan (Class of 1975) while she was a student at Winthrop College from 1971-1975 and alumni records concerning Winthrop Class of 1975 reunions. The types of materials in this collection include copies of the student newspaper, The Johnsonian, programs and ticket stubs from events on campus, miscellaneous papers, directories, class schedule manuals, registration manuals, bulletins, memorabilia, and alumni records. Some of the memorabilia in this collection are transferred to University Records under memorabilia (W415.2).

Additional Notes

The following materials were transferred to University Archives:

  • Rat week cap put in W415.2-7G-4 Box 1 Item 7;
  • A pillow with ’74 stitched on one side and ’75 on the other put in W415.2-6F-4 Box 1 Item 3;
  • A gold and burgundy Winthrop College t-shirt put in W415.2-5E-10 Box 3 Item 17;
  • A navy Roddey Hall sweatshirt put in W415.2-5E-10 Box 3 Item 18;
  • A purple “Mighty 75” t-shirt put in W415.2-5E-10 Box 3 Item 19.
