Scope and Content Note
The Nancy Meleski Collection consists of a family bible with genealogical entries, a family dictionary that contains names of people and towns, and a collection of sheet music for vocals, violin, and piano. The names and places listed in the family bible include: Moses Franklin Hardy (1821-1898), Amanda Kneeskern Hardy (1836-1904), Seward Valley, New York, Stephen P. Brewster (1845-1922), Katherine Melinda Kneeskern Brewster (1845-1913), William Eben Hardy (b. October 29, 1852 – d. November 24, 1852), Parley Elmer Hardy (b. May 16, 1854-September 24, 1857), Julia Holly, and Rhoby Jennings. People and places listed in the family dictionary are: Volney, New York, Schroeppel, New York, Chauncy Morgan, Palermo Morgan, Albert Morgan, Richard Holly, and Marie Holly Woods.
The Nancy Meleski Collection was donated to the Winthrop University Archives and Special Collections on May 17, 2016.
