Scope and Content Note

The Alice Claire McColl Collection consists of material collected by Alice Claire McColl (Class of 1966) and her time as Winthrop undergraduate student from 1962-1967. Alice is a member of the Class of 1966, but she graduated in December 1965. The collection includes a commencement bulletin, Johnsonian articles, schedules for classes and Winthrop events, advertisement flyers, handbooks/booklets, several artist series programs and flyers, and a Rat Week program. There are also special items including four Winthrop ID cards for Claire McColl, a meal ticket, a swimmer qualification, student government (SGA), and inspection cards, items pertaining to WDC, a notice of admission, a diploma cover, and two signs for Claire McColl. This collection offers a great window into the life of an undergraduate student at Winthrop during the early to mid-1960s.
