Participants in this session will be provided with strategies that a school can implement to support students and teachers in inclusive classrooms utilizing co teaching. To implement co teaching with fidelity takes a great deal of planning BEFORE co teaching instruction can even begin. This session will walk participants through the stages of planning for co teaching implementation as well as ways to provide continued support for teachers during the school year.
Participant Objectives
- How to strategically plan for students in inclusion classrooms during the schedule building process.
- How to provide opportunity for teacher collaboration.
- How to support teachers with the implementation of a co teaching classroom.
- How to continually support teachers throughout the school year.
