Winthrop Close Up is a weekly news cast produced by the Advanced Journalism and Advanced Broadcast Production classes at Winthrop University. This week’s show deals with the series of house break-ins, ways that you can prevent yourself from being a victim of property theft, Living Liberty a political group on Winthrop’s campus, and how the temperature affects the mood of students. Winthrop Close Up also takes a look at how the closing of Harris Teeter affected the campus, ways to lose the freshman 15, information about the Civil War History class, the TRIO program, the 2nd Annual Ghost Tours, and the Eagle Sports update along with the entertainment and cultural events update.
