Winthrop Close Up is a weekly news cast produced by the Advanced Journalism and Advanced Broadcast Production classes at Winthrop University. This week’s show deals with four fraternity brothers concerning an incident with bombing charges, Greek Week prep and events, University President fine on hit and run, how to prevent the Flu & importance of the vaccine, the marriage amendment and the gay marriage ban, political groups on campus and the 29th Annual Crop Walk. Winthrop Close Up also takes a look at the York County Fair and how it was affected by Winthrop University, Sorority Annual Costume Sale, and the annual Eagle Sports update, along with the entertainment and cultural events update.
