Winthrop Close Up is a weekly news cast produced by the Advanced Journalism and Advanced Broadcast Production classes at Winthrop University. This week’s show deals with ways to stay away from germs, network control, a statement from the creator of the CARE organization Zainab Ghadiyali on how to prevent dating violence, and some information about the Care Coalition and how it can help you learn more about HIV/AIDS. Also on Winthrop Close Up, a snippet of the Association of Ebonites and a look at Chinese Martial Arts, how students feel about pets on campus, Christian Clubs getting Campus involved throughout the week, Social dancing classes, and also an update on entertainment and cultural events, as well as the annual eagle sports update.
