Winthrop Close Up is a weekly news cast produced by the Advanced Journalism and Advanced Broadcast Production classes at Winthrop University. This week’s episode deals with Winthrop’s take on Sexual Awareness Month, American Red Cross Blood Drive, Study Abroad Programs and the benefits, the new Common Book, life of David Bancroft Johnson, and the benefits of Wofford’s Gym. Winthrop Close Up also takes a look at the Winthrop Phone-A-Thon, the effects of the renovations being made in Downtown Rock Hill, Alumni Profile on Jennifer Bowers, and the Eagles Sports Update along with the cultural events and Entertainment update.
