Winthrop Close Up is a weekly news cast produced by the Advanced Journalism and Advanced Broadcast Production classes at Winthrop University. Episode 4 consists of Sonja Gantt from WCNC News, advising students who are concerned about finding a job after graduation. Also in this week's show, new wireless hot spots on campus, computer viruses and ways to protect from them, solutions for late night cravings, the student talent show, Winthrop Idol, Winthrop's study abroad program, as well as sports and cultural events.
