Biographic Information
Maud Gladden Nims was born November 12, 1920, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She earned a B.S. in Biology from Winthrop College, Cum Laude, in 1941. After a short stint as a science teacher in Lockhart, SC, she joined the newly organized U.S. Navy WAVES in 1942. Maud Nims died on December 13, 2014.
