Winthrop's first Interdisciplinary Conference will take place on November 6-7, 2015. The conference focuses on the uses, politics, art, history, and economics of water worldwide. It is open to faculty, graduate students, undergraduate students, activists, and community professionals. Over twenty university departments and programs are working together to sponsor this conference and we are so excited to collaborate with the Winthrop University Galleries that will showcase two exhibits dedicated to the Water Conference theme.

Registration can be found here. Early registration for students is only $15 and $25 for faculty and community members. Register before October 15th to secure this low rate! Conference registration includes: Friday night reception in the Winthrop galleries, Saturday lunch, and a Water Conference bag!

Check in will begin at 2:30pm on Friday in the DiGiorgio Campus Center. Sessions will begin at 9am on Saturday and end at 4:30pm. You will find a draft of the schedule and surrounding events here.

In order to promote sustainability, you are encouraged to bring your own water bottle and/or coffee cup.
