Abstract

The paper explores the extensive trans and post-human universe created within the animated television show The Venture Bros. Major science fiction archetypes are explored and compared to their satiric counterpoints within the show. In particular, normally one-dimensional sci-fi and horror standards, such as Frankenstein's monster and the Arch-nemesis, are shown to have drastically different outcomes with the addition of typical human personality flaws.
