Subjects include the biographical and family background of Mrs. Shippey, her views on the educational system in the U.S. and Brussells, where she lived until 1914, the Brethren Church, her teaching experience at Oak Park Junior College, Winthrop College, Pakistan and the AAUP censorship of Winthrop College. She also discusses her travels around the world, particularly China and Russia.
