This collection consists of a map titled, “La Caroline dans l'Amérique septentrionale suivant les cartes angloises” by Jacques Nicolas Bellin in Paris, 1764. The map is in French and depicts the Southeastern portion of South Carolina including rivers, counties, and districts. This map measures 23 x 36 cm.
Provenance
The La Caroline dans L'Amerique Septentrionale was purchased by Argosy on December 18, 1957 for $17.50 for the general collection of the library and later transferred to the Archives.
