Additional Notes
This collection consists of an insurance contract produced by Gill & Young Insurance Agency for Michael L. Brackett. The contract is a spoof of an insurance policy that guards against “...the hazards to be encountered by the “Brothers of the Brush” during Rock Hill’s [SC] 150th Year Celebration.” This policy ensures that Michael L. Brackett’s beard will be protected “...against damages resulting to said policyholder’s beard from the natural causes of hail, windstorm and/or lightning.” The policy also lists various causes of beard damage that is not covered by this insurance policy.
