Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of the Index to the book The Women of the Mayflower and Women of Plymouth Colony, compiled by Roberta Lea Cowart in 1992 to help genealogists and researchers find the names of these women pioneers. The original publication being indexed by Ms. Cowart was The Women of the Mayflower and Women of Plymouth Colony written by Ethel J.R.C. Noyes in 1921. The index includes all the names of the women from Ms. Noyes' 1921 publication and the pages where they are mentioned.
