Hampton McNeely Jarrell (1904-1980) was an author, historian, and professor of English at Winthrop College (1932-1970).
Scope and Content Note
The Hampton McNeely Jarrell Papers consist of two chronologies: 1) Events on the Catawba River Flank and 2) Events on the Broad River Flank. There are also two Map references corresponding to the two chronologies and a Map of the Battle of the Carolina Piedmont, June 1780- January 1781, all pertaining to the Battle of the Carolina Piedmont, during the American Revolution.
