The Butcher’s Cookbook consists of a leather bound notebook containing instructions on preserving and curing meat, and recipes for various meat dishes from around the 1910s. The name A.D. Payne is on the front cover. The book was given to the Library by Zack Spratt, relative of the Fort Mill, SC Spratt Family, in 1949.
