Mamie Meacham Reaves (1873-1964) was from Greer, SC and attended Winthrop Normal College when Winthrop was still in Columbia, SC. She began teaching in 1898 and married Edward S. Reaves in 1900. She later lived in Fort Mill, SC.

Mamie Meacham Reaves (1873-1964) was from Greer, SC and attended Winthrop Normal College when Winthrop was still in Columbia, SC. She began teaching in 1898 and married Edward S. Reaves in 1900. She later lived in Fort Mill, SC. The Mamie Meacham Reeves collection consists of two volumes with detailed notes in mathematics, music, and poetry while a student at Winthrop Normal College in the early 1890s. Also included are photocopies of a biography of Mrs. Reaves which includes newspaper articles, anecdotes, and photographs depicted her life and her family.
