The Catawba Indian Records consist of a speech given by a Mrs. Williams (Financial Agent for the Catawba Indians) on the history of the tribe and a pamphlet titled “History and Condition of the Catawba Indians of South Carolina” by H. Lewis Scaife, Instructor of English, Trinity Hall, Louisville, Kentucky in 1896.
