Historical Note
Sue Martin (Quattlebaum) (1885-1966) was a 1907 Winthrop graduate from Robson County, NC. Upon graduation she taught school until her marriage to Paul Quattlebaum in 1911. She had four children (Paul, Laura, Katherine, and Sue) and later died in Conway, SC in 1966.
Scope and Content Note
Sue Martin (1885-1966) was a 1907 graduate of Winthrop Normal and Industrial College. Included are three letters to her future husband, Paul Quattlebaum, while she was at Winthrop and he was at Clemson; ten photographs of Winthrop students and others, and a short biographical sketch of Sue Martin Quattlebaum.
