The Michael Ragsdale Family Papers consists of two copies of a history of the Ragsdale Family compiled by Theron E. Ragsdale (1974). This history traces the Ragsdale family along the Michael Ragsdale Line through Virginia and Georgia from their arrival in America in 1642 up to 1974.

The Michael Ragsdale Family Papers were donated to the Archives by Calvin H. Ragsdale on March 15, 1982.
