Historical Note
Rock Hill is the largest city in York County, South Carolina and the fifth-largest city in the state. Rock Hill was founded in 1852 and incorporated in 1870.
Scope and Content Note
The Rock Hill Maps collection consist of maps of the city of Rock Hill, SC and of York County, SC put out by the Rock Hill Chamber of Commerce from the 1960s and 1970s.
Provenance
The Rock Hill Maps were donated to the Archives by the Rock Hill Chamber of Commerce on October 24, 1980.
