Winthrop Close Up is a weekly news cast produced by the Advanced Journalism and Advanced Broadcast Production classes at Winthrop University. This week’s episode deals with Mass Communications Week and their speaker Bob Steele, the Benefits the Lottery has on Education, College of Visual and Performing Arts search for a new Dean, College to Career Seminar, and the Black History Carnival. Winthrop Close Up also takes a look at the need for more lighting around campus and more on the revitalization of Rock Hill the various activities found in Dinkins, the naming of the incoming Academic building, and the Eagles Sports Update along with the Entertainment and Cultural Event Update.
